So how does the submersible pump work

Before the deep-well submersible pump starts pumping, the suction pipe and pump must be filled with liquid. After opening the pump, the impeller rotates at a high speed, in which the liquid rotates with the blade. Under the action of centrifugal force, it flies away from the impeller and shoots outwards. The liquid ejected gradually slows down in the diffusion chamber of the pump shell, and the pressure increases gradually. At this time, a vacuum low-pressure area with no air and no liquid is formed at the center of the blade due to the liquid being thrown around. Under the action of atmospheric pressure on the surface of the pool, the liquid in the liquid pool flows into the pump through the suction pipe. In this way, the liquid is continuously drawn up from the liquid pool and continuously discharged from the discharge pipe.

Pump before use, the application of megohm meter to check the insulation resistance of the motor, its minimum value should not be less than 5 megohm. The inspection method is to connect one terminal post of megohm meter to the cable of electric pump and the other terminal post to the motor housing, shake the megohm meter and observe the insulation resistance value. Check diving cable has ground crack, scratch and other phenomena, such as damage should be timely replacement, in order to prevent leakage of electricity. The immersion motor should open the irrigation bolt, fill it with clean water, tighten the bolt, and then dive into the water. If the oil-immersed motor is found to leak oil, replace the sealing element before diving into the water.

Before diving into the water, the electric pump should fill the pump with clear water, idling for 1-2 seconds, and start twice to check whether idling and starting is normal. If the direction is opposite, the two phase wiring can be exchanged. Check whether there is crack in the Yang water pipe and whether the connection is firm. When the electric pump is submerged or hoisted, do not pull the cable, so as not to damage the cable or disconnect the joint. The power supply voltage should be controlled within 5% of the rated voltage. If the voltage is too high or too low, the motor will be damaged.

Electric pump into the water should be vertical, not inclined to put. The electric pump shall not transfer water or mud with more sand content. Always clean the sand in the motor cavity and replace the water in the motor cavity. Pump actual head should be within 0.8-1 times rated head. This can improve the pump work efficiency, electricity saving, avoid motor overload operation, extend the service life. Electric pump after use, should be cleaned, painted on the metal surface rust prevention, and vertically placed in a dry place for safekeeping. The immersion motor should also be drained of clean water.
