Maintenance of submersible pump

Submersible pump place should be solid, installation should be firm, smooth, and there should be rainproof facilities. The high pressure hose joint of multistage water pump should be firm and reliable. It should be placed flat and straight. When several pumps are installed side by side, their heads should be the same, and there should be a distance of 0.8 ~ 1.0m between each pump. The same flow rate should be used in series installation. During operation in winter, the pipeline and pump room should be well protected against freezing and heat preservation.

1. Pre-start inspection items shall meet the following requirements:

1) the connection between the motor and the water pump is concentric, the bolts of the coupling are tightened, the rotating part of the coupling is provided with protective devices, and there are no obstacles around the pump;

2) the pipe supports are firm, the sealing is reliable, the pump body, pump shaft, packing and gland are tight, and the suction pipe bottom valve is free from blockage or leakage;

3) the exhaust valve is unimpeded, the inlet and outlet water pipes are tightly sealed, and there is no water leakage between the pump shaft and the pump body.

When starting, add enough water diversion and close the outlet valve; When the pump reaches the rated speed, unscrew the valve of the vacuum gauge and pressure gauge, until the pointer position is normal, then gradually open the outlet valve.

2. If the following conditions are found during operation, the machine should be immediately shut down for maintenance.

1) water leakage, air leakage and heating of packing part;

2) the filter screen of bottom valve is blocked, and the operation sound is abnormal;

3) if the temperature rise of the motor is too high, the current suddenly increases;

4) loose mechanical parts or other faults.

3. When lifting and lowering water absorption pipe, it should be operated on the platform with guardrail.

During operation, personnel are forbidden to cross from the plane.

When the pump stops operating, the pressure gauge should be closed first, and then the outlet valve should be closed, and then the power should be cut off. When winter USES, should open each department to release the water valve, releases the net water in the water pump and the water pipe. Set up a strong protective fence around the pump. The pump shall be upright in the water with a depth not less than 0.5m, and shall not be used in the water containing mud and sand.

When the submersible pump is put into the water or put out of the water, the power should be cut off first, and it is forbidden to pull the cable or the outlet pipe. Submersible pump should be equipped with protection zero or leakage protection device, work within 30 meters around the pump water, no people, livestock into.

4. Pre-start inspection items shall meet the following requirements:

1) water pipe ligation is firm;

2) screw plugs such as air release, water release and oil injection are all tightened;

3) no debris in impeller and inlet joint;

4) cable insulation is good.

5. After the power is switched on, it shall first test run, and check and confirm that the rotation direction is correct, and the running time outside the water shall not exceed 50min.

The change of water level should be observed frequently. The distance from the center of impeller to the level should be between 0.5 and 3.0m. The pump body should not sink into sludge or come out of the water. The cable shall not rub against the shaft wall or pool wall. For a new pump or a new seal ring, open the water seal plug after 50h to check the leakage of water and oil.

The repaired oil-immersed submersible pump shall first undergo a 0.2mpa air pressure test to check all parts without leakage, and then add the lubricating oil into the upper and lower shells. When the temperature drops below 0℃, after stopping operation, the submersible pump should be removed from the water and dried and stored indoors.

6. The absolute tension resistance of the stator winding of the motor should be measured once a week and its value should not drop.
