8 factors of submersible pump lead to no water or insufficient flow because many submersible pumps are made of cast iron or plastic. If only the submersible pumps made of these materials are made, it is difficult to meet the needs of customers. If there are many corrosive media, they cannot be discharged, such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, etc. That's one of its features. Besides rust, it is also resistant to high temperature. So there are many manufacturers and the production of high temperature stainless steel submersible pump. Although it is stainless steel, but there are many auxiliary materials can not withstand how much high temperature, generally within 120° is no problem, such as some chemical plants need to withstand high temperature more than 200 degrees or choose centrifugal pump.
1. The submersible pump often has insufficient flow or no water during operation, and the main reasons are as follows:
(1) the installation height of the pump is too high, so that the impeller submergence depth is not enough, resulting in a decline in the water pump output;
(2) the pump turns in the opposite direction;
(3) the outlet valve cannot be opened;
(4) the outlet pipe is not smooth or the impeller is blocked;
(5) the wear ring at the lower end of the pump is badly worn or blocked by debris;
(6) pumping liquid density is too high or viscosity is too high;
(7) the impeller falls off or is damaged;
(8) when multiple pumps share pipe output, one-way valve is not installed or the sealing of one-way valve is lax.
2. Elimination measures
(1) control the allowable deviation of water pump installation elevation, which cannot be expanded arbitrarily;
(2) idling motor before water pump test run, check the steering to make it consistent with water pump. Check whether the phase sequence of the power supply is changed when the above situation occurs during use.
(3) check the valve and maintain it regularly;
(4) clean up blockages in pipelines and impeller, and often salvage debris in the reservoir:
(5) clear sundries or replace wear-resistant rings;
(6) to find out the causes of water quality change and treat them;
(7) reinforce or replace impeller;
(8) install or replace one-way valve after checking the reason.
